About the Founder, Jeanette Richards

    Over the past twelve years, Jeanette Richards has worked with young students in a variety of environments. She has worked with special needs students in grades K-12 (diagnosed with autism, down syndrome, mental retardation, developmentally delayed, attention deficit, and emotionally disturbed students) individually and in small groups with teaching tasks related to math skills, language skills, reading and writing skills, and social skills. She has designed and constructed many “hands on” activities (using skilled craft and artwork) to help students learn basic skills and concepts, (i.e. in, out, stack, sort, match, etc.)
